Description: GRIDWORKS (Torrance, CA) is a premium provider of audio, video and theatrical products to the cruise industry. As the selected softgoods provider for their recent project with Princess Cruises we had the privilege of bringing to fruition the drapery designs for the Ruby Princess. One of the key elements was the dramatic main stage Austrian Drape which was produced from a custom dyed 26oz IFR Velour. For a full look this was sewn with 100% vertical fullness, while a limited horizontal fullness of only 20% allowed for the piece to stack up into a minimal space above when lifted into it’s open (stored) position.
