| Velour is a rich looking cotton fabric with a thick, light absorbing pile. It is generally the most desirable fabric for stage curtains. Velour fabric is available in several weights ranging from 16oz to 32oz. As the back side of velour is susceptible to wear and abrasion, it is suggested that all velour drapes be lined with either Denim or Ranger cloth.
21oz Velour is the most popular weight velour for mid-size main settings and is ideal for all other stage masking. Medium weight and partially opaque, it is used in venues ranging from school theatres to concert halls. The colors displayed below are all readily available - additionally custom dye colors are available if lead time allows and minimum yardage requirements are met. |
