Celtic Cloth is one of the industry standard materials used for economy backdrops. It is a medium weight knitted fabric and is available both coated (used for direct print) and uncoated (used for dye-sublimation).

Pros: Think economy – this will be about the lowest sq ft price you can get when you choose direct print onto coated celtic. When used for dye sublimation, this fabric offers crisp colors

Cons: Direct print to Celtic does not read colors or black well as the coating on the fabric is very light. Don’t chose direct printing to coated Celtic if your image is heavy on dark colors or includes a lot of black. The 13 foot wide goods are limiting (compared to some other substrates which offer 16 foot goods, ie: Crystal Plus)
