Fun & Challenging Projects, Part 3

Did you know that our drapes were featured on the cover of Rolling Stone’s 1000th edition?

We took the call late in the afternoon from Michael Elins.  He’d made some calls to other providers but had not gotten a response back.  Obviously, there are advantages to not using a voice mail system – everyone who calls Sew What? gets to speak to a real person – in this case benefiting both us and the client!

There was little time to react, but of course we immediately agreed to the project.  Rolling Stone magazine is an icon in the music business, and so we weren’t about to miss the opportunity of having our drapery on the cover.

The much anticipated 1000th issue was published with a spectacular holographic cover featuring the biggest, the best, the most outrageous and the most glamorous, all assembled beneath red velour, gold fringed custom stage curtains manufactured by…you guessed it, Sew What? Inc.  How fun is that?

And of course, when it was published, we couldn’t resist adding “Cover of the Rolling Stone” by Dr. Hook onto our telephone “hold music” CD!
